Ever since I put that photo of our coffee maker up as the head of Oddments, I’ve been wanting to do a video of using it. Now I have! Interestingly, in the past year there has been quite a resurgence of interest in vacuum/siphon coffee pots in the U.S. (they never went out of fashion in Japan and other parts of the far east). Last time I googled “vacuum pot” I got lots of hits on Ebay for old ones; now it’s all new ones on Amazon! But the principle is the same in any decade.
